cam mod yfz450

does anyone know of the cam mod on the yfz450?im getting ready to buy a raceready yfz and he told me the cam mod has already been done.he says it is advancing the cam one toothe to be like the yz bike instead of the wr.any info would be helpfull.

Yea,except its retarding the exhaust cam 1 tooth, i didnt it on my YFZ...it works, Cheap free mod!

we did that to ours we used 168 main and a 48 pilot it gave a pretty big increase in power all around. it was pretty easy to do and its worth it.

its a great mod. guys at the local track can't figure out why i always get the holeshot against thier yfz's. they think i've done something special to my motor. i'll never tell them they just have to retard the exhaust cam 1 tooth. boosted power everywhere

how do I retard the cam tooth? Do I turn both of them one way, or just one a certain way? Also does it have to be a certain tooth if its only one, or does it matter?
