how much is my dirtbike worth?

i have a 2002 cr80 expert with the mods in my sig, i was just wondering how much it is worth, these arent recent pics, it now has tag x5 bars-gold and renthal front and back sprockets with a renthal r1 works chain, i'll try to get new pics

why u want to sell that thats best lookin 80 and cleanest ive ever seen if u have to sell it thoe dont settle for anything under 2000

yup, everything needs to be redone, im gonna polish the motor today and some of the raditor and my carb and then redo everything else :macho

soo from what you guys have being saying its probaly worth around 2000, last time i was thinking of selling it i was gonna sell it for 1,500 i was a little off eh

clean under the back fender and all of that and under the front fender because that is pretty dirty and take those ugly handguards off and you can probably get around 1700-2000. Looks really clean besides the fenders.

i would take the hand guards off but they saved my hands many times so im gonna keep them :macho

yup, the harley goes in the house too, we keep them in the house since we dont have a shed or anything plus no1 can steal them and they stay in ac and heat plus we have a big 7ft tool box and we are getting a lift and a big screen tv so it will be kinda like a shop/living room :macho

i sold my 1996 cr80 in 1999 for 1300$:eek2: it had 2 times the mods that thing had... sry to tell u but they don't hold any value because they are so cheap to begin with...

i dont realy know the price of dirtbikes but try a couple hundred dollars over what its worth because there are people just getting into the sport that dont know a thing about prices i would say if he sold his 96 for 1300 and yours is newer try to go for 2000 if you are gonna sell it

that 80 sounds nice, i would like to bore mine out, port & polish the head, shave the head some, do some clutch mods carb etc and get a seat cover, does fmf make seat covers? i was thinking a all red seat cover but black looks good :confused:

the best mod i ever made to that bike wsa the boysen carbon fiber reeds... them things really woke that bike up!!!!


i did all the clutch mods, shave head, port it, everything like that and to be honest it just made the bike hard to ride... u had to be WFO constantly.... i would burn clutches up all the time bc i was constantly on the clutch

thats a nice 80 and all man but youd be lucky to get 1700 out of it, unless they are in high demand in your area, i traded my 02 kx100 with quite abit done to it to a friend for his 03 blaster he only got 1500 out of the bike. its a nice bike but they really dont hold there value for anything:rolleyes:

its an 80, i dont know what i want if i sell it, my dad doesnt want me to get a quad so i was thinking maybe a crf250r, though i want a 450r

I say 16-1700. 80's don't hold their value that well, and we all know how you don't get anywhere near what you put into it when it comes time to sell.

Id say at the most 2 if u where patient, but like 1,500 to 1,700 if ur not mayb a little less. This thing is really clean you have to see it in person i swear he never rides the damn thing and just polishes is it.:D
