Any advice (do's-dont's) for breaking in a new 426 kit with a cam?
Thanks.

don't lug it. don't let it idle for a period of time. go thru the gears fluctuating the rpms and let the compression of the bike decelerate and slow you down itself.

Thanks a lot. Sounds like you know your stuff.
Is the brake in time roughly a few tanks of gas? Or will I feel a difference in the performance when the break in period is complete?
Thanks and I hope I am not splitting hairs with this.

i believe the piston will be 80% broke in within the first 20 miles of driving. after that it may take a little longer for the remaining 20%. you should be good to go after 1 tank of fuel. i usually don't even wait that long considering your running at high rpms breaking it in to get the proper ring seat.
