I am trying to get a game plan going for upgrading my 400, and was wondering how worth +1 a-arms would be. I like to trail ride, mx and I want to get into free style. I plan to get Elka tripple rate suspension with rezzies. I'll probaly get a pipe and do a few other mods, but I was wondering if it would be worth me getting +1, I don't want to go any more then +1 at the most, if its even worth it. I would like to hear your opinions, thanks.

You can go with +2 and use 4+1 wheels to shrink that down to +1, except with better shocks and a tad bit more travel.

my +1 i can notice a big differnce over stock... makes the front end plant into turns alot more... don't want to tip nearly as much...

i just think the +1 arms turn better. now thats just me, and i dont do a ton of mx but its what i prefer.

i have run +1 arms on every 400ex ive owned

the 425 had Burgards and my stock 400 had housers

here was my first 400ex. only think it had was pro-cicuit pipe and nerfs and tires and rims and a hood. thats pretty stock

Any suggestion on brands? I am looking but I've never bought a-arms before or anything from a company who builds them... Any companies to stay away from?

try JD Performance Racing.

i use their +1 standards on my KFX. about the same cost as Burgards and excellent quality.

good folks to do business with, friendly and very helpful. they didn't have any +1's for a Z/KFX in stock so they made me some, got em in 2 weeks from the day i ordered them :)
