What should my next engine MOD be?

I have a 01 400ex with these mods.....What should I do next?

11.1 piston
stage 2 hot cam
Head fully ported
Choke removed from carb
carb jetting with 165 DJ



I was thinking a bigger carb or a better rod and go to 440?

do you have any suspension mods? if you dont then thats where i'd go next

Hook up your suspension and chassis if you havent done so already. If so, then go to a bigger bore like you are suggesting. I say go 426 and not 440, that way you wont have to re sleeve your cylinder and you will have faster revs and more reliability than a 440. A 39mm FCR or 38mm Lectron will improve your performance as well, along with a full exhaust if you dont already have one...

he didnt ask about suspention, anytime anyone on this site asks about what they should do to there motor, the first thing posted oh do suspsention first. yes suspention is nice, but its not his question.

id go with an FCR39mm or get oversized valves

HAHAH...yea i already have a full R4 on the bike and the the rest of the bike is set up the way I want it.

what kind of riding do you do? i had basically the same set up as you last year. i went with a 426 kit this year and it is a night and day difference. i would recommend the 426. if you are a trail rider or a woods racer i would leave the carb stock.
