400ex maier?

ok i know that 400EX maier race cut WILL fit my 300.....how hard is it to install? slso with the race cut will i need to buy side pannelsor a gas tamk cover?




btw i've already searched this topic and couldnt find much on maier 400ex plastic on a 300ex.....thanks:)

nahh i like the look of the 400ex maier...and im not 100% on doing this yet either i have alot do to yto it before i get into "looks":) :macho

idk i might just get 300ex fullbore i like the look of it but $500 bucks is alot for plastic

I have had mine on its lid several times this year, and don't have any of these "white stress marks" that you are talking about.

Show me some picks, that way I will know what you are talking about.

same here, I've had mine for almost a year and a half now. its sure had its share of rollovers.....and i know it still looks good. The only 1 crease mark that i have is where the rear fender pushed down and bent around the exhaust (you can see it by the factory effects sticker)

If i were you i would go with Maier, its cheaper than the others, looks good and holds up fairly well. The only downfall to this project of yours will be having to create custom mounts (most likely) but this will probably go with any plastic that you buy.

i dunno what you base your oppinion on I know alot of people that run maier without issues and so do i haven't seen any white crease marks either and i've seen them after some nasty tumbles

The only Maier fenders I like are for the 400ex...for some reason they look better than the rest! A kid that races GNC Nationals has black 400ex maier on his 250x with a candy blue frame..it looks badazz
