i just would like to know if its a good idea to run an octane booster in my gas and if so what is a good brand and is it necessary with my current mods?

MODS:E-series slip-on,white bros cdi box,14 t sprocket,K&N filter,no lid on air box, 155 main jet,42 pilot, stock needle clip position, no choke.

Without any motor work you shouldn't even have to run premium. I always run midgrade or regular in a stock motor.

If you have not raised the compression, premium is more than enough.
