I'd love to know exactly what he bent... I'll take a hyper over any aluminum rim.

he LIES! they are a carbon fiber composite....they will scratch and may even crack or break but not bend! I havent even seen one break or crack yet! And as Joey Borich says"Not even the rocks at Jack Frost can hurt these rims"

Since you have a tire made for a 9 inch rim I'd think you would get a 9 inch wheel.

well i can get new tires but what is the best size for trail riding

so if the rim is a 10x9 id have to get a #x10x9 wheel right?

you should invest money into spelling lessons instead of your quad

Get the 9x9 rear. Most common tire size and you can use the tires you already have.

ive decided 10x9

If you make lots of money and have money to spend, their is no better wheel. I purchased mine so that I can change tires myself without a bead breaker, plus they the lightest beadlocks available. $750 a set, unless you can find a vendor who sells them below MSRP. (I know you said rears but later on i'll guarantee that you are going to want the fronts to match.) For trails/ track, I would go with the 9" unless it's a dedicated MX'r in which you have the 8", or if you just race TT or trails only then the 10" but the 10" lacks tire selection.

I have almost 30 XC races on my Hipers, and have had any issues with them at all. They have held up to Roush Creek, and The Wisp GNCC.

Sounds like your best bet would be to get the 9X9

I just seen this Post about hiper rims and had to laugh about it... For everyone saying there junk... Ill put my 2 cents in.... I have a 400.... motor work, pep shocks, a-arms, pipe, ect... You get the point. But Ill have to say the best money ever spent on any of my quads were the hipers.... I do alot of mx racing out at redbud and a few onther tracks of that size and Ive crashed on them hard broke my wrist, and foot and on the 400 I broke a shock mount, ball joint, and bent a steering stem. so it wasnt a very nice sight.. when I was out for a while my buddy used them on his bike and he crashed on the same jump i did and there not bent broke or nothing so... Ill have to say they cant bend.... If sumone bends a set give me a call I wanna see them. Best money to spend on a quad I think... Good luck

It was Matt Smiley and he broke his spindle on his 250R, not his rims.

9x9 are the probably the best choice for trail riding there is a larger selection of tires for 9inchers than others ,the offset would help if ride where you can stand the width it improve handling.I'd like to a pic of a bent hi per for ripley's.
