i got my raptor shock but were do i mount the rezzie??also were do i adjust everything like compression and rebound on the shock??:confused: (300ex)

Just zip-tie it to the sub frame to the left of the shock.

i made a half assed mounting plate,and don't use zipties they will break right off,use the metal straps were you have to screw the screw to tightin them,i used three and they didn't move,just make sure that the rezzy won't hit the frame alot so put the rezzy as high as you can

We have used zip-ties for 2 years now and not a single one has broken. :rolleyes:

ok now i need to kno about the adjustsments..ino atv the bottom is the rebound but can i make the shock sit lower sumhow?and how do i get the spring to move higher?

Not sure what you mean but using a 400ex spring will lower it a little. Or you can have an SSD conversion done.

get yourself a 6 inch piece of 1 inch heater hose. cut it down one side and put it over the subframe rail then take 2 hose clamps and attach it. the heater hose will act as a cushion for the rezzy and also protect the frame.

i had a bag of them....sucked cuz everything either broke or wouldnt stay tight:mad:

My rezzie came loose and smacked the chain. After loosing all the oil out of the shock, I had a 250R rezzie and hose put on (little longer) and mounted it by the airbox w/ no problems. Good luck, you'll like it! :devil:

yep, i used about 6 wire ties, eld for two years, hose clamps are nice, but the wire ties were laying around and never failed, so i never worried about it
