No matter what u drive, or what u ride, theres a danger factor, i dont know why they use that as an excuse to pick of atv's, if u whipe out and kill yourself, guess what.. thats your problem. But now there trying to ban atv's from everything like the banned sleds. Give it up u boring news editors and lame enforcements..

i think it falls back to the parrents. if they would take the time to teach their kids it would not be as bad. my dad had me riding a 50 before i was in 1st grade, i was driving the truck on the road around the house at 10 (not fast but following him on the tractor) and racing at 12.

edit, look at pappy's kids. he spends time with them and teaches them whats going on. thats what other parrents need to be doing.

"That's not why the trail is there," Hodgdon said. "It's for nonmotorized use."

So where are the trails for motorized use?

I'd like to ask these people how many people got killed in car crashed there from 1982-2002, I bet that number would be 20 times the atv death rate, at the minuim..

well thats not a fair percentage either. you need to make both in simplest form say a age bracket from 16-21 and compare. although ATV's do get a bad rap cause people think they arent dangerous but when the flip over and get hurt are they obviously the thing in the wrong. why dont people question cars the same way?
