Boy scouts blame ATVers

Well it seems that "on my honor" Does not include the legal team at the boy scouts.

They started a fire accidentally and are trying to shift the blame on a vulerable group such as us.

We could get kicked out of the forests for good if they were successfull in a sceme like this.

I would email them if anyone cares about this. We seem to be the path of least resistence when it comes to blame.

My friend is in Boy Scouts...I'll see if he can do anything about it. I used to be in it years ago...but it was just too stupid for me.

How can they blame us when even the U.S. Attorney's office says NO ATVs were in the area when the fire was started...I guess we're just that powerful, we can start a fire miles away without even being there! I always knew my 400 had it in her;)

See...they are just saying it is possible that it could have been an ATV...but last I checked...I don't know of a quad that is quick enough to do the back to the future 1.21 jiggawatt take off and leave flaming burn out marks..so I wouldn't worry too much about them blaming ATV riders. Attorney is just trying to pass blame. I am an asst. scoutmaster for my church scout troop so I can totally see how this could happen...12 year old pyro's...left alone in the woods...bad things happen

and if it was a group of people (non atvers) in those trails that started a fire...what are they going to do...ban people from taking the trails...nooooo...but since us ATVers have such a bad reputation of course wed get blamed and banned

the only way an ATV would actually catch it on fire is if
1. super dry area. 2. someone had a MX race quad with a tc racin pipe 3. they had it jetted way rich. chances of that are not very high. i hate how people do this ****. they are so quick to point the finger.

guess they didn't get a badge for this one

Nah I'm pretty sure they have a badge for "Blaming $14 million worth of damage on people who weren't even in the area." Damn boyscouts...$250 for a small cup of lemonade? Are they retarded? Why don't they just rob a bank and then blame it on ATVers...that'd make a lot more sense.
