The HMF pipe had the worst reviews of any pipe on the net, the white brothers had very good reviews. This is interesting...

Im just stating what the reviews said, thats it. Not trying to play devils advocate or anything. I myself am looking to put on a pipe on my 400ex, and i would love to know why people are saying HMF, the reviews ive read said the white brothers put out more power.

The people at HMF are great to work with and the power it added to my stone stock 400ex was very noticable with the correct jetting, which i think i finally figured out.
Also,HMF told me that if i ever decide to get the header pipe for my slip-on,all i had to do was pay for the head pipe and shipping back to them and they will put them together for me.

I had an e-series, and it was the biggest waste of money. Now I have a HMF and love it. Great power, and quality:cool:

Let me guess deathmetal... You got your information from one of those blasted DIRT WHEELS shootouts right?? Dont listen to that crap, I know people with both pipes and the HMF is better... Better built, better power, better support... I used to run a WB R4 too, and yes, I loved it, but I dont think they make those anymore. I would never reccomend an E-series to anyone ESPECIALLY because they fall apart and use the dreaded disc system that I absolutely hate!!!

i would never by white bros in the past either. someone talked me into their race pipe for the 450R. let me tell you i would take it over the hmf 7 days a week. my r pulls harder then any that i have been next too in the races and the quality is head and shoulders over what it used too be, but the pipe is very expensive also

if the wb is so chitty then why do so many people have them. i have the e-series and i love it. it makes good power and has a great sound.

Some whitebro's pipes have fallen apart/ cracked. HMF's quality is 2nd to none... Either way you go, you will like the added power.

wb are junk from what i've seen. my friend has a raptor with and e-series slip on and he had it about 1 year and it is falling apart. he took out the spark arresstor and holy shat it is loud:eek2: :eek2: it was funny becuase when he pulled everyhing off those studid disc things were burnt to a crisp:rolleyes: and they cracked and broke and it was a big pile of junk after that.

Why are you choosing from just those two? And why a slip on and not a full system?
Have you considered a "Duncan Fat Boy" or LRD?
Just my 2 cents.:D
