Allright, I have a 250ex. The other day I went to a state atv trail, which is nothing more than an old railroad bed (long and straight). So after a half hour of that I got bored and went to a gravel pit. After going up a small hill the bike stalled. It didn't want to restart right away but after a few tries it started and off I went. It happened a few more times and seemed to get harder to start. Keep in mind it only stalled while going slow and not while in a higher gear. This has happened before and I just want to know if this happens to anyone else with a 250ex. I did do a search but didn't find too much.

Could it be overheating? What are symptoms of overheating and do 250's tend to overheat easily?

i would take the carb apart and clean the heck out of it. make sure you take the jets out too because there is a good chance you have something clogged in the main or pilot jet.
