spare 400ex headlight bulb...?

Just wondering if any of you guys that race and take out your headlights would be willing to part with the bulbs. One of mine is burnt out. Im willing to pay shipping costs or whatever, Thanks!!

take one of them to like autozone or something & find some replacements

hahaha, both of mine are burnt out, they dont have them at autozone or anywhere, Only place i could find to sell them is OEM.

Yeah but OEM headlight bulbs are expensive and cost out the butt.

Thats why I figure if somebody has some they aint using then that would be cheaper...

i went to my local honda shop to get some...and they didnt have them in stock...so i went to the yammie shop and checked the raptor bulbs...and they matched...so im running raptor headlights on my 400ex...they are the same bulb

it was 19 bux for the 2 bulbs....i think the honda shop wanted 15 for them but they had to order them..so i just went ahead and paid the extra and got the bulbs right then and there

well its like a monopoly man....if u aint got but 1 company that sells these bulbs...they can charge w/e they want...cuz advanced auto nor auto zone sells these type of bulbs...


and i woulda got them from honda but i had to order them....so i went and spent the extra money and got them that day..because i was going night ridding a lil later on

o yea and btw my buddy just took his head light assy. out his 400ex....so i might be able to see if i can cop the bulbs off him...ill tell him imma use them for spares for my 400ex...and most likely he will give um to me..

so you can only run OEM bulbs? Are you forsure? Cause i wanna put some better/brighter bulbs in my 400ex.

well PIAA is making hyper whites for quads now...but they are proally gonna cost...if you need more lighting go to advanced auto and buy some fog lights and put some fog lights on your quad

ok. would i be able to run them with out changing anything? How would you hook them up? Also Where would be a good place to put them. '

i think they replace the stock bulbs with no modifycations needed....

no im talking about spare foglights

you shouldnt ahve to change nadda...get a toggle switch and run 1 post all the way back to the battery, and run 1 post to the fogs...i dont kno where i would mount them on a z400....


or you can go buy some lil round lights that trail tech sales...they are good lights as well

they sell kits that mount up to the handle bars removing the stock key switch n replacing it with a billet switch plate and the handlebar headlight mounts

no i have a 400ex. Alright. Ill probabaly buy some of those blue diamond lights at auto zone or pep boys or where ever. What do you think are the most watts i could run?
