what a great day for racing ehh? so how did everyone do? who ever has pics of some racing post them. cant wait for winchester.

yesterday was def. nice weather. i did good untill half a lap. got tangled with the guy in front of me when he stalled. I had problems with my rear shock all day. I also let Mike Walsh ride my bike when he had a problem with his bike. It was pretty cool to see my bike in action and pull the holeshot in the open pro class moto 2. he was doing good but the rear shock was so messed up he had to slow down and then the carb fell off so he couldnt finish.

yea dude that was sick to see mike rip the holeshot on your bike. so what were you thinkin when you saw mike pull off? lol oh ****?

when i saw mike sitting on the site of the track, me, walt, and amy ran over to see what happened and when he said the carb fell off, i was like great, "i just ruined this pro's day because of my quad" lol oh well. come to find out mike enjoyed riding it. im going down to their shop tomorrow night to measure up a new elka rear shock and elka lt linkage and we need to figure out a new intake manifold because the one i was given to use with the motor and carb is too short. so hopefully by winchetser ill get the new rear shock, new walsh radiator and get the carb fixed.

Guys yes the racing was good! we had around 330 riders down a bit but still agood turnout! No one got really hurt! Yours truly for those of you that are wondering only has a bad sprained ankle mat make winchester may not we'll see. i will be there driving you guys nuts but may not race. as soonas Iget more info I will pass it all along. Overall the riders and such were much better and the problems seem to be going away. Good job guys!!

I was ready to have a good day, But #14 in the B class took me out 3 times. :mad: Hopefully he learned it doesn't pay to use someone as a berm, Because it set him back also. I felt like i was in the the C class all over again. :grr: Now i have to go look over all the damage done to my quad.:(
Anyway on to a better note...How about Josh Creamer :eek: , he was looking good out there. Redrizza i though was clearing the camel humps the best.

No, Ryan (Redrizza) was hitting them. I saw Jon Glyn hit them in practice but didn't watch him race.

yea i saw a guy hittin it on a 450r and crashed. i got 5th in my qualifier and 10th in the main i rear ended i guy in the hole shot and got bucked off in the main to. i was proud of my self now i get to retire the stocker z400 cuz i bought the walsh/rpm z400 all done up from a guy that works at columbia motor sports so now ill be able to hold on:blah:

I had a good day.
I just want to let #19 know good race, and that rubbing pass was not planed. tell mofford good race too.
ex 80- #14 is my good friend and we just watched the tape, he hit 3 people all day and they were you. all were just mistakes or bad luck, he told me he felt bad about it all.

i had an ok day..my first moto i got hung up and took 4th..and then my 2nd moto..i had to hold up the womens open cuz my bro was racin my quad..i got 4th on the holeshot and made my way up to 1st:) ..but then my chain locked up:o and i took 10th..but walsh looked at it..and told me that my motor sits to high in the frame..and the chain is tighten when it should be loose and loose when it should be tight...so now we gotta fix it be4 winchester
did anyone hear about that guy in the pro class i think..that was usin methanol instead of gas...i could smell it a mile away..lucky howard got him just in time...cheaters:o

nice work with the pictures muff, thanks. i did pretty good in the open c class. First moto 4th and second 5th. i was happy the machine is running good now. hopefully it stays that way. c u all at winchester

The second Open amatuer moto i did not stay for, honestly i was to tired to race and prolly would have gotten hurt. i need some endurance baaad. i should of stayed and just went out and putted aruond to get some endurance.

Yeah i saw you were way on the right, so i kept it in my mind i might see a blue quad to my right once the gate drops. I saw you were 1/2 a quad length ahead of me 3/4's of the way down the straight. I let off for a sec and got right behind you in the turn. If you can't beat em some times, join em. LOL

Ok guys a couple of things. I want to thank I believe its ramprida for the pics of Joe crashing. I swpied them for the newsletter because so many people wanted to know and see what happened. The other thing does anyone have pics or video of yjr crash in the 30+ B moto number2? I got taken out in thta one and would at least like to see the crash!!! If anyone does please let me know!!!

Chris, I placed 5'th in the first moto, and whatever last is in the 2nd moto due to my tether coming out. Should of had 4th. My luck sucks so far this year.

i had 14th or 15th in the first open B moto, and 7th in the 2nd moto. 10th over all
I have no clue how i did in 4 stroke. The sheet was not up when i went to go look, and i know it was not worth asking.

well so here it goes.
My dad his dale was leaking in his moto so he couldnt finish the race.
My brother placed 3rd or 4th
Me i was running strong in 3rd within 10-15 feet of 1st and did a wheelie off the first aid jump and i fell off on my back and ripped off my grab bar,
and in my pcq i passed 3 riders in the 1st corner and tried to pass another kid but ran into him on accident and flipped my quad.
So i havent finished a full race yet this year......
i got to do good at Winchester.....

sick weekend had a blast racing with every1 in the 4 stroke A and pro am. good job eldon with ur finishes , u decide to move up to A yet

you guys have bad luck! but i know some one with the worst luck of all:
my freind anthony 4-stroke c #6 red z440 lrd/lonestar he has never finished a race this year (his first year) his quad has broken every race oil tank, rear shock, ignition, and now his motor just blew he has blown his motor 3 times over the last 2 years and
he has over 18000 in his z and its been nothing but problems. poor kid:(
cant wait for the next race even though the track doesnt sound do good:)

yup, i know it all well. its not like i didnt make it to the second motos cause i suck :p i have around 15000 in my 400
blew my 440 motor, lower ball joint popped out, and then at jolly i got taken out in the air and run over twice. So I missed southwick and I'm gonna be missin winchester but will hopefully be back for jolly. We'll see after thursday when i get a MRI taken :(

my luck hasnt been great either. its my first year and crashed in my very first moto because of my rear shock. in the lcq my kill switc broke. i did good in my first moto at jolly but had a ****ty start in moto 2 but worked my way up to ninth. then this weekend i was running good until the guy in front of me stalled and i got caught in his rear tire. then the quad wouldnt start for like a min after he took off. i think i got 15th or so due to riders crashing in my class. then i had problems with my rear shock again, so we adjusted it more but i missed the lcq while working on the shock. oh well. im not doing as good as i would like but im def. learning alot and just trying to work out all the bugs in my 440.

kinda funny how i crashed going into the first turn my first race...lol:blah: i think most people crash there first race

I placed 13th in Open B 1st moto and almost last in the 2nd. My 450R is all stock so I just go out there for the points at Southwick but at Jollys and winchester I will give it my all.

I didn't crash, i got crashed into. LOL:blah: Either way you were still ahead of me. Is that you on the 450R near eldon in the hoteshot pic of the first moto. Its in this thread somewhere.

I think so, I tend to be in the top 3 in the holeshot everytime then it's downhill from there.

hey it could be worse in the holeshot I took the holeshot in that pic but if you look at the pic see the white z on the right that was me overshooting it. lol What are you gonna do first holeshot at the wick and I was nice enough to move for everyone lol. I finished somewhat at the back I couldent hold on anymore. good job guys it was a great day at the races.:)

i did prety good considering my mojo was out of wack!!! i just wasn,t feelin comf on the quad ( tryin dif susp setups) i also only ran the 30+ b and not the open b like usual. i thought i would feel beter but felt worse! anyway i managed a 2-2 for 2nd overal, and felt good when the guy who beat me fliped out that my r has comp stock susp. and he's 3g's deep into his yam;) don't know how well the stock width will do at Winchester though! but i will be running both classes hopefully. see ya :D
