Did you take your parking brake adjuster off?

It's probably that, or if you have a parking brake blockoff plate, some of the older ones are too deep and won't let the caliper open all the way.

i had and am still having trouble with this-i dont have the stock parking brake assembly and i took my brake block of off and still forcing the caliper on -have tried 3 brands of pads-piston is going all the way in till flush with caliper-caliper bracket floats freely-i think the waves are thicker than stock rotors
i force it and just let them wear

What brand of wave roter are you guys having problems with?

I am running Galfer in the front, and the rear, and have had no problems.

Measure the pads, and roter to find out which is thicker than stock.

My rear Galfer is like this too...i think i will just take the pad down enough to make it fit then just let it run...
