Good xc and mx 18" tires??

what kind of XC you plan on doing with 18's:confused: is it just for trail riding with more MX riding involved?

Pappy i hear that 18" tires gear the 450r down ALOT, the way my freind made it sound is you lose alot of power to the rear tires and all they do is chirp...is this true?

IMO the 450R was geared FOR 18's! i run a 13 tooth front with 20 inch razor 2's and she still gets down the road.

So it isnt a bad move to put 18" tires on it, it will still have everything that it used to. I know there is a loss in top speed but is there any gain or plus to them?

for mx it will offer better handling etc.

Ok WO will look into them thanks alot. Pappy will ride mx mainly but some trails every now and then. Nothing competitive though.

but i used to run turf tamers everywhere:) ride railroad tracks one day, race the next.

lol as long as they work for your type of riding it doesnt matter what tires you have...:)
