Can I get a bulb from local auto parts store? If so whats the number?

yes, you should be able to just ake yours out, go to the auto store and match it up. I'm not sure of the number, but i looked at mine yesturday, and it looks pretty standard

Check the bulb, there should be a number on it somewhere. There is one on mine. Just take it to a parts store and ask em if they have it or just look for it. Shouldnt be any problem.

That's the thing, I have no bulb in the socket at all...I think it is 12v5w. Does anyone have a cross-reference number that will work. I am sure I will pay twice as much from the dealer. If anyone knows what will work let me know.

1146...is single filament 1147 is double filament
