I am having trouble with my front brakes since I put on my new handlebars. I put MSR Dominators on with the ATV high bend, and my front brake line isn't long enough to put the handle where it is most comfortable, and where it works the best. It is kind of on the bend instead of right next to the throttle. When I completely pull in on the handle, the handle hits the grip before it is completely engaged. Anyhow, I am going to get new braided brake lines, and wondering if standard length lines will fix my problem. I have also thought about getting +2's and mounting the middle portion of the "Y" a little higher than stock. Will that work?? Will somebody with some knowledge about this help me out?? Thanks!!!

does anybody know what i'm talking about?? basically i need to know if i were to get braided lines, if the part from the master cylinder to the splitter is longer than the stock lines. or, if i were to get +2 lines if i can mount my splitter higher.

Yes, the standard longth lines are longer than stock. I'm not sure exactly how much slack you need but they should fix your problem.

I apologize, but I have not been on the site lately.
We have a solution to your problem. Streamline Steel Braided
brake lines are available in +1 or +2 TALL sizes. We make the Master Cylinder Brake Line longer to your specifications. It accomodates longer steering stems also. Our website is down due to updates, but we usually have all the details listed. Give us a call and I can refer you to your nearest Streamline dealer, or you can purchase from both site sponsors
C & D Racing and Burgard Cycle.

Thanks,

Brian
