yea will the 400ex tank plastic fit? and what will putting a 400ex seat on there do. i plan on geting a ac bumper 2plus 400ex burgards . raptor shock black seat cover and 18s rear an 19 fronts;)

well i care because littler tires would make your quad look better lol....the 400 tank plastic will fit you just have to make the hole for the cap a little bigger...the 400 seat will clean the look up alot and such...and the other mods sound good. :devil:

mines getting +2 a-arms and shocks maybe..i might just stop modding it because music is alot more important to me now lol...-shrugs-

You have to get a '01, the one with a remote rezzie. I have only had a little ride time on mine but seems to be a good improvement for the dollars. Although I will probably sell it for an elka rear.

Ahhh another contest :p Well I just got done doing some stuff to mine today :) I think it looks alot better now!! I painted the a arms if anyone is wondering also painted my rear plastics!! I 'm gonna do the fronts tomarrow :)

Yeah I was going to take the seat off today & make one out of black w/ some red BUT I have a couple bolts that are being a pain in the arse :rolleyes: as soon as I get them off it will be getting one :) As for the chipping yeah it'll chip but just can't afford PC right now plus this way i can see what color I like since I can just as easily strip it down & repaint it :) The black lasted about a year so that isn't too bad, I'm gonna spray them w/ clear tomarrow after they dry overnight that should help a little.

AHH FORGET YOU and Roostin!! :p lol, its all good, my 300ex is finished, done! ;) Just gonna keep it like it is and only fix what needs to be fixed. which looks like a swing arm might be coming soon, because this stock one is chipping on all the welds.. so.. there might be a +1 or so on it soon, but hopefully the stock one will hold up a little longer.

Thanks Outsider. Yes the 350 kit works pretty good but I wish I could have afforded to put in a stroker when I had the motor work done. This will probably be the last year I race it. Too many 450s here in PA.

Thanks. I think it turned out pretty good. The plastic wasn't exactly an easy bolt on though. I had to get inventive with the brackets. I think I'm going to make some different brackets that come off the shockmount. Overall I'm happy with it.:devil:

Should have took some pics of the mounting bracket I made for mine, just bolted all of it together last night. Worked out great bolting it down to the top of the relocator. I 'll see if I can get a shot of it from underneath.

You can't really tell in the pics but in the sunlight the fullbore is just a little more red. I think it was just over $250 shipped for the fronts. Not exactly sure on the shipping because I ordered a few other things at the same time.

To be honest I'm not exactly sure how they are supposed to go because I have a shockmount bracket. I had to cut my original fender bracket so I'm not real sure how the stock setup was. It isn't real hard to do though. From what I hear they are easier to install than maier.

just a little fyi Hotcams does not make a cam for the 300ex not to mention hotcams are a drop in and don't require harden rockers and if you did you use them you would have eaten the cam up in a matter of a couple hours of riding :o
