Fireworks

Who's shooting off fireworks this 4th and what do you have. Do tell all. I got some and are just waiting for the 4th. Anybody have any ideas on how to have some safe fun with them. I mostly got firecrackers and some rockets. ALso got some ground spinner stuff also.

Be careful, last week my best buddy got hit in the side of the face with fireworks, missed his eye and temple by like .005mm. He was very very lucky, he has a nice black mark on the side of his face and no eyebrow :) Everyone was drinkin and no one said anything about fireworks, he walked passed and took one in the head, so before u launch them off, make sure everyone knows where they are being fired. Have fun !

in minnesota you gotta travel out of state to buy any good fireworks, besides like your basic sparklers and fountans.. but what fun are thos:confused:

i like to mess around with just normal bottlerockets, me and my friends lit a whole group at one time and threw it in the street, it was awesome. put em in coke cans and stuff its pretty cool to see em explode :)

We normally spend a few Benjimans on the Indian Reservation for mortars and shells, big rockets and all the cool chit. But this year the forcast is for no rain until after the 8th, so were all camping at Tahuya and riding for the weekend.
Normal forcast for the 4th is rain in the morning and high clouds by showtime, but not this year.

Oh yeah, I got some TNT lined up too. I also got some good gutter pieces and some 3 inch tubing to use for launching them bad boys.

Then I whip out the serious chit on the plywood slabs....them is quick wicks, so you gotta light'em and run the eff back quick!:devil:

this past new years i was feeling sort of:blah:
i got me one of those triple bang mortor shells and put it in the tube up side down and then stood there like a deer in the headlight due to mr bud and his reaction time.
dude it scared everybody on the block the whole side walk was black. was real funny just minuites after.

Nothing special, my mom bought these actually. If you go to Pennsylvania, there are about 3 firework stands on the side of the street, withing a 1 mile radius. Next weekend were gunna buy a lot.

Oh, but you can have a lot of fun with a bunch of sparklers taped together. That makes for one mean explosion.

We usually just go down to missouri and buy our fireworks. Im into bottle rockets, just shootin them at my friends and stuff. It sucks though, m-80's are illegal in Missouri now, guess too many people were blowin their arms off.

im into bottle rockets 1 nite we duck taped a lot to my friends skate nboard with him on it to see if itd propel him so we light and he chickened and jumped off but it was cool

yeah that what we do around here we'll go buy like 75 bucks of bottle rockets and little dinamite and shot em at each other but i cant this year bcause i gotta go to my g/fs house and set a good expression with her family.:( :grr:

My family sells fireworks, so we get damn cheap fireworks. We are friends with the owner of the distrubitor so he gives us a ton of works for free. I love shooting that stuff off...but I usually play in b-ball tournaments on the 4th...then I drink beer!:devil:

man we just got back from tennesse and we stocked up, we got mortars, huge bottle rockets all kinda stuff. just be carefull shootin em' in fla. becuz theyll get ya for it. BIG TIME

i go down to florida every 4th to my uncles condo right on clearwater beach. i use morters and the biggest rockets around haha. im going to film this years fireworks show on my vid camera hah.

WE play around with these in vermont, buy em in new hampshire..any way my uncle decided our fire works show wasent "cool" enough so since he works in a body shop he decided to weld a 2 inch steel pipe with 3/4 inch walls to a 3/4 inch 5x5 plate the pipe was sticking up about 8-10 inches he drilled a small hole in the base of the pipe, and the next year he birngs that like 20 feet of wick and 2 pounds of black powder..he stuffs like 3 1/2 inches of powder in it jams news paper in the top and lights the wick......biggest bang i've ever heard, the next day freinds of the family come over from 4 towns over and were like wtf was that bang last night, we were like how the ****would i know?:devil: :blah: :macho :cool: :D

I went in my grandads shop and found a bag of m-60's, these suckers are huge. the highest they make nowadays are m-90's and theyll bareley blow youre hand off
