Today was the day for the back mountain enduro riders harescramble. I raced in open class C . There were 30 quads in that class and i ended up 17th. Not too bad for my first time and wrecking twice on the first lap and once on the second. Track was very rough. It was constant whoops. I wish i knew this before hand, i would have set my suspension up better. But it was fun. Cant wait to try again. I must say though, i passed alot of yammis and 400exs. So i say the honda is a great machine.

I didn't realize they had enduro's for quads. How did you do with your time keeping? Blow any checks?

i dunno how much of an enduro it is. ITs more like a harescramble. It was an hour long. I made 3 laps. Each lap was between 6.5 and 7.5 miles. I didnt look at my times. I was just looking at the place that i finished in. They may post the results on the website. WWW.BMER.ORG . Last time i looked the site was not up and running. I dont know why. But is hsould be on there soon.

OIC...so it was a hare scramble. I've never seen anyone run an Enduro for quads ....I guess its because at enduros your bike must be road licensed.:(

he may have said he raced an enduro because the club that put on the harescramble is called "Back Mountin Enduro Riders"

it's just a district 6 hare scramble.

Can you say whoopy whoopy! Major whoops. Jeff this is a Harescramble not an enduro. Race was 1 1/2 hours long and track was about 7.5 miles long. Some real wide open areas, but you couldn't take advantage of them because of the dust.

Here is a little sample!

Those wide open parts only make about 1- 1.5 miles of the track though , but the rest was whoops

BIG HOLES. Tried that the first lap and almost flipped. There is also a series of whoops (smaller)right after those two!

ya i didnt mean to say enduro, that was just on my mind because i was thinking of the back mountain enduro riders club. I meant to say harescramble from the start but messed up. Ya that track was really rough. ITs hard to explain to anyone how rough it really is. Some guys who raced dirt bikes before the quads told me about the roughness, and i was like "ya ur just old" , then when i got out there...holy crap it was bad. I wish my suspension wasnt set so hard, it would have helped me alot since most of the race i was just tring to hang on for dear life. IT was like tring to ride a basketball.
