air filter oil?

can you use foam filter oil on a k&n air filter. it seems like the foam filter oil is a lot thicker i was wondering if it would damage the k&n filter.

No you can not use that oil on a K+N... A K+N is a filter that needs very special attention and maintenance to perform correctly. Just buy the K+N spray on oil or another brand (maxima, motul, etc.) that is made for PAPER filters, not the foam ones. I would guess the foam oil would be too thick for the K+N and clog it up. A can of K+N filter oil is like 7 bucks or something and it will last you for a whole season or more cleaning it every week. Dont chance anything when using one of those filters and just buy the name brand stuff and forget about it...
