How to set preload/ride height

Im going riding tomorrow and need to know a good method to set preload/ride height on my 450R. I know how to adjust the spring, I just need to know how and where to measure so that its sitting at the right height for my weight.

If you have any website that have this info, please give them to me. I need some info tonight as im going to do it now!
