View Full Version : brake help on a 2000 400ex?

I just put in new back brake pads and was woundering how much do they need to be ajusted b4 you bleed them i have used the adjust bolt and that is in about half way and then i tryed bleeding them and it still feels like i dont have any pressure on the brake pedal and i dont got rear brakes???? any ideas plz help

if you just put pads on, you shouldn't have to bleed them.

i lost the brakes tho b4 i put the new pads in i went to press the brake pedal and it went down and there was no pressure so tahts why i gotta bleed them but its giving me problems

but what about the front brakes.....same way i guess??? i think you could use a Y joint thing and put the 2 pieces of fishtank hose into 1 and do them both at the same time

the front brakes work fine its just the rear

i wont talkin bout your frotn brakes....i was sayin anyones front brakes in general

You could just do one caliper at a time on the fronts.

yea but doin that Y thing is alot better than doing it 2x
