Exhaust Smells Burnt

After decreasing the size of my main jet from a 170 to a 160 and replacing my spark plug, the exhaust smells burnt.

No plastics are touching any hot spots. No cables are melting. When I rev the motor the smell increases.

Could I have messed up something inside the carb?

Any ideas?

how is your jetting??
maybe you whent to lean?

check the plug and see what colour it is.
