Air Scoops (measurements)

can somone tell me how long the top of their air scoops are then how far they go down?? ive also seen some that bolt up at the bottom of the air scoop too on 300's, wheres it bolted to?
im kinda low on cash and i was thinkin about making my own

I made my own for my 400ex and they look pretty good for home-made. What I did was buy a couple of pieces of postor boad from wal-mart. I just cut and folded the poster board and fashioned it into place where the scoops mounted and worked with it until I had a scoop made out of the board. I then laid it out flat on a 2' x2' sheet of stainless sheet steel that cost me $5 and used the cardboard scoop as a pattern, I cut it out of the metel, made my bends on the corner of the kitchen counter top, and put them on. the set cost me about 15$ tops and folks ask me where I got them.

yeah thats a good idea, i made some out of cardboard but im not sure where to mount the bottom, i think im just going to mount it into the frame
