brake line to short???

i just got some pro-taper highbend 7/8 handlebars and the brake line seams to be to short . have you guys had to replace it?
and the hot start ,headlight switch has a nipple where it went into the little hole on my stock handle bars. did you drill a hole in your new handle bars for this?or just cut it off?then would it still tighten up snug on the bars?

wierd mine where a small bit too short but it works you might have to replace them:o

well i got them to work i had to roll my brake lever down a bit and bend the mounting bracket for the brake line that way and trim my handle bars about three quarters of an inch. :mad:
i was able to reinstall the the temp light and key switch moulding looks SWEET:D
i ended up drilling a hole in the bars for the hot start/light switch nipple figured it would just spin if i didnt (bro agreed).
WHO KNEW it would be so hard to swap a set of bars..
im gonna have a blast watching my brother:D
worth all the work though :macho
