are you thinking about gettin fullbore for ur 300ex? i wouldn't recommend it if u have a aftermarket pipe. my cousin (tp300ex) had fullbore on his with a yohimura pipe and i think it was one of the screws or bolts it burnt his plastic. it made a big spot where u could see it was melted, and almost made a hole. he called fullbore and they said that the fullbore plastic is not made for it to fit with aftermarket pipes :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

^^^it does the same thing with the stock plastic.;) just stick some of that heat resistant tape on the inside of the fender where its next to the muffler.

Maier, fullbore, UFO, stock...they all do it on a 300ex

I got full bore plastic with a super trapp pipe on it and it has a hole in the sides. We patched it with something and it don't look all THAT bad. I'd suggest full bore to anyone. I have rolled my quad MANY times and the plastic still looks good.

exactly just get some heat resistant tape and stick it on your fender so it doesnt burn
