Depends on which dunes. I ride Pismo where the hills are a joke. Riding through the dunes, I can keep up with absolutely any model quad, flats I get lost in a heartbeat at top speed. On any significant hill climb, the machine probably won't make it.

I go to Little Sahara in waynoka about 3 times a year and mine doesnt keep up with any of the bigger quads but I make it pretty good i can make it up all the dunes just dont plan on getting off the ground when i get to the top...
