Got new 406 today!!!!!!

Well i just got home from picking up my 400ex that got bored to a 406, a hotcam stage 2 put in with an 11:1 wiseco piston. I haven't got to ride yet because it is rainin pretty bad here but my questions are: Will i notice a pretty good increase in power? and also will i have to change my jetting for this setup from what i have now (see signiture)? thanks for your help and if you have this setup tell me how you like it.

I didn't have to rejet when mine was a 406. With the bore and cam, you should notice a pretty good improvement. I was very impressed with my 406 and there was alot of people that didn't believe that is was a 406! You'll be happy with it:D

my 406 with a tc mx grind cam, full race porting, K&N open airbox, stock mod carb, and a stock gutted pipe i'm running a 165 main...


with a lrd full pipe i had a 170 main jet in it...


u will notice a HUGE incrase over stock with a hi comp piston and cam... i can run with any 416 etc out there when i had my pipe on it... the bore size really doesn't matter that much... its more the cam, porting, carb, pipe, jetting combo u have...
