I was watching some trials riding today, the stuff that they do on those bikes is crazy. One guy must have climbed a rock that was like 6 feet tall. Also, how much do these bikes cost, and where could I get one.

You can get them used for around $3k. It is very hard though. Riding up a 6ft rock is not something you can learn overnight.

O I know I cant learn it over night, I'm not expecting to that good at, but it seems like somthing that would be really fun to try.

we have a old honda tl 125 trials bike, dont buy one if u have no expirence with them there hard as hell to ride, you cant even sit down on them because the pegs are so far back, they are definetly different tho and i could see the fun in it for sure,if i ever get rich im sure ill have a few of them, and those bikes are really high tech if u look them over, or atleast the pros bikes are

what i would do is find a trials camp to go to. make sure u want to do it befor u go and spend that kind of money. those are VERY purpose built bikes, there isnt much else u can do with a trials bike than trials. get on a regular bike, get some logs and such and try riding up over them like ur on a trials bike. that should help u decide if u REALLY want one

trails bikes are so expensive because everything on them is the best you can get, especially the brakes:eek2:

I wouldnt wanna buy one of those bikes, they look cool and everything, but you cant really ride them far, and you wouldnt wanna ride it for to long, ive tried them, it takes a lot of energy out of ya just hangin on while ur vertical etc.. but it is fun, and something cool to learn.

One thing i did not notice when i rode one was if it had 1 gear or 5, anyone know, i cant see the bike needing anymore then 2 gears

who wants to buy a used one? all smashed up from someone launching it off a cliff. I'd rather spend my money wisely. Besides, your going to spend more money fixing up a used one rather then buying a new bike!
