Jumping logss

Ok at the last race I was getting over this log that was about 2 feet high, and I got over but it, but I would almost flip off. Do you hit it pulling a wheelie fast or slow and do you work the clutch. I'ev seen guys go over logs so smooth and in control, what are your tips?

is this on a trail? what i usually do is get up close to the log going somewhat slow the just lift the front end up(wheelie) and just power through until your over. sometimes you cant help but almost flipping

I went over it all seven laps and I got close pulled wheely till belly pan hit and clutched right over, barely even slowed down. Problem with log that size is it takes alot out of ya and momentum is your friend.

What were you riding, and what class were you in? I went over it twice but on the third try I smacked into the log.
