These picutures were acquired by friends in the industry. But I did notice camera flashes going off during the show.

Security was tight and they were not allowing anyone in with cameras and if you did get in with it they appeared to be escorting them out the door. But can't confirm or deny that actually happened at all, just rumors floating around the concourse.

I find that the NO CAMERA rules a bit strange for such an event. Half the fun is taking your picture home and showing your friends and family. I'm sure they have there reasons for no cameras but one I just don't get.

I would abide by the rules as best as you can, breaking them only hurts others.

I can say this though a small digital camera in this type of event will probably be nothing but a blur. It's dark, lights like a concert, and fast moving bikes. Most non-professional digital cameras will not be able to get any decent images.
