Maier sounds like a bad choice to go with, my friend with a 400ex bought Maier when he cracked his stock...didn't fit AT ALL, sent them back and got stock for much cheaper.

You really need to take your time and think about things. I had to do some improvising using zip ties for the tank cover mounting. Very happy now that their on.

Maier can look good  I would never buy the maier full fronts, but the race cut is fine

I spend 2 hours of cutting the headlight area to get the lights to fit right and i still couldnt do that, the other mounts wouldnt line up at all and custom ones had to be made, it just wasnt worth the hassle.

The race cut bolted fairly easy with little difficulty.

yea but i need the stock lights fir night riding and i dont want to spend 150 dollars for aftermarket lights. But are the full fenders nice once you get them in or do they flop?

it took a lot of work...i dont think it was worth it at all. If i were you i'd just get some stock plastic with a nice set of graphics (psst I have brand new yellow front and rear for sale)

Does anybody have a picture of the add on fenders Maier makes for the race fronts? I would like to have the race front fender, but got to have full fenders for XC racing. Muff where did you put your key and neutral light?
