I bought a $5 speed chip for my 2002 Toyota Tundra. I'm a little scared installing it because I'm affraid it will fry my engine. Anybody every installed a speed chip before and had problems? These 20hp gain claims bring out the skeptical side in me.
here is an example of what I bought:

HAHA its not a chip, its a resistor, they cost about 15 cents at radio shack. All they do is make ur computer think ur engine is cold so it runs richer.

If it makes your car run too rich, it can jack up your engine after a while. It's 5 bucks, and your probably getting what you pay for. JMO
