Well I got my tusk nerf bars today and they looked beautiful, then i put the netting on and go to put them on. They came with three main pieces, the middle to hold them and the two sides. I go to put the middle on and it goes in front of the two bars on the frame after the engine where there is a crappy skid plate and its like a triangle. I put the bar on and you need to use U bolts to attach the bar to the bottom of the frame. there are two long slots for the U bolt to come up through but the bolts cant go in unless you have the bar further up into the triangle.
^im not sure if you understood that part but its the best i could explain it
anyway I had to file out the slots so they would be longer and the bar could fit flush and hold the nerf bars,
just a warning i dont know about any other quads but if you have a 300ex and your thinking about ordering them you may have to do a little bit of work to make them fit but for the work I think they are worth it. they look 10x better then my friends dg's and they seem pretty strong :rolleyes:
