could a recon go up the face of sand mountain at litte saraha,UT

brian_250 has a recon and thinks he can make it up the face of sand mountain at little sahara utah and I dont think he can.my old 250ex would not even go up the valley let alone the face my 400 barely goes up it.anyone who has been here what do u think

i really doubt you on that one brian....you'll start goin and then start spinin and go down unless you have paddles..and even if you did it'd suck up to much power

If a 400EX barely makes it up, it's unlikely. You might be able to get one up there with big floatation tires, to stay on top of the sand instead of powering through it.

My buddy had an 185cc 4-stroke three-wheeler. It had big fat balloon tires because it had no rear suspension. He used let most of the air out of those rear tires and it would climb places my 250X with paddles couldn't go up, and he out-weighed me by forty pounds.

So, from the sounds of the descriptions, it's possible to get the Recon up the face, but it is unlikely. It certainly won't happen with the stock tires on it.

NO WAY IVE SEEN MANY FARM MACHINES TRY TO GO UP THE SIDE SHUTES, RARELY DOES ONE EVER MAKE IT UP ONE OF THOSE, AND THAT IS THE EASIETS PLACE TO GO UP....

Believe it or not I took my wifes 200SX with it's ballon knobby tires up it at the end of the year last year. The sand was really forgiving on that trip for some odd reason. :confused:

I tried it again this year and there is no way it would go..
