do the OMF Radiator Shrouds help the 400ex and how much do they cost

I have the radiator shrouds made by tinner and my quad seems to run cooler then it did before. They also look kool. Tinner was selling them for $30 or around there so they are cheaper then the omf. The omf cost $60-65 but you can get them in anodized colors to. Hope this helps

Yes they do to a certain extent. They force more air into the oil radiator. They run anyweres from $59-$69. If your worried about engine temps I would get the pingry's oversized oil tank first.

Well cheif with you runnin that big bore I'd say yes they would help direct airflow over the bottom of the oil cooler and toward the front of the motor, header pipe, etc...I believe they cost around $65 for the OMF...or you could PM a member named Tinner,,he makes them also for a-lot cheaper,,,here's a pic of Tinners custom scoops mounted up on mine,,kind of an older pic so don't laugh...:D

Is there any way I can get somebody to make me a template of those scoops and tell me how they mount. My friend at the machine shop will make me a set very cheap if I can get this from somebody
