well we just got back and i started a thread for all the pics. i will have to email tina ours when she gets back. im sore from wrecking my banshee over a big jump. <<not fun:( at least i didn't get hurt. i had fun drag racing up thunder. i had one big competator in the group( NDpredator ) man his predator is fast . i hope everone else makes it home ok.:)

Well....Were Back!!!!!! Wow!! What a great Trip this was!!!:cool: Aside of some of the problems that arised(Troys Predator Granated):eek: :mad: FastBikes blew another head gasket, NDPredator lost 4trh gear:( and had a crash, ID-YFZracer-BE Rolled his Banshee:eek2: , everyone came home w/o any serious injuries and till manage to to have great 5 days of riding.....I have TONS of pics Im going threw right now to post .....

This year we managed to gather up 27 riders!!!! We had a really hard time keepin all the group togetehr since they were all camped at different spots.....There were appox. 10 more riders we didnt get to meet, I think next year we will do what NDPredator suggested and get a few 2 way radios ....


Once again ALL the riders we hung out with were very cool people and hope we can get together again in the future for more duning trips.......Ill have pics up shortly........:)

Choke was a bit harder this year to get up than last year.....usually by late summer the hill isnt as tall and steep but almost everyone had a difficult time getting up it ...I think almost everyone in our group eventually got up Choke.....NDPredator was the first to get my Honda up it.........:D

I am shipping my motor off Thursday to get it fix, Canyon said that I need to change my compression to stop it from blowing the head gasket:grr: So it going to go to Duncan's in Cali to get fix right so it don't go back anymore. I didn't say yours was "slow" heh.. just that the power does sign off half way up the hill ;)

I still give you props for being able to steer that 426 with the dampner WAY up.. I was tired as hell after like 2 mins with it on the whoops :(

Yeah she did.. On the way back she said she definately liked the 250R still, and just needs to get used to it. When we were by the lake there she finally understood what I meant by the powerband.. she kicked it into 3rd pretty hard, and she definately knows what to do from now on. Going to pismo for 4th of july, and she will be 10x more comfortable there, I think she will ride it pretty hard there..:macho

LOL.I havent recovered enough to even plan next years trip but ?Im thinin Mid june seems to be the best Month to go....Any later in the summer its too Hot and earlier its rainy and cold....... Well this is the better half of e-atv-racing and dunemomma to ID-YFZracer-BE(aka Michele). :D

Just wanted NDpredator to know that it may be me racing the YFZ up Thunder next year! :muscle: I don't think I realized what I was missing riding that banshee!

I know I had an awesome time this year and am already planning next years trip!

i got the new dirt wheels they had a pipe shoot out for the yfz. mine is producing about 46.4 hp im happy with that. for now anyways. wa ha ha ha ha;) :muscle:

Hey tina you remember the last day there when my quad didn't want to start at all.... Well i had a double header race this weekend and it did the same thing, in fact i didn't even race today. Well yesterday at the race during practice my temp light came on again so i really started to wonder what was up, so during the 1st moto i was really blowing some smoke from my pipe and it turns out i have a blown head gasket to say the least. I haven't torn into the motor yet, but that is one of my problems. So needless to say i didn't race in the main yesterday and completely missed today.:mad: Looks like i'll be calling HPD tomorrow to order some more parts.

If i were troy i would be really pi$$ed off at my dealer for some shotty work on my engine. I did think about just shipping the grab bar, but i think it was easier to just take it off in the parking lot.:D

It sure is amazing how fast the Quads have gotten in the last year. Mine was one of the fastest 4 strokes last year. now it one of the slowest. I sure wish I had the money for a new one or maybe a couple secret parts in it:devil: Maybe someday. it was a fun trip anyway though.

Well guys i had to go and do it on friday. I went and bought a brand new 04 predator over here, but only cuz i thought the dealer had a GOOD deal on it. I bought it for $5400 otd. That seemed pretty good considering when i bought my 03 2 years ago it was $6500 otd. The tranny is VERY smooth in this new one and the motor doesn't make any wierd noises either. Now i just have to figure out what to do with 2 of them.

i was really considering that HARD, especially after riding brian's over at St. A's, but i just have so much aftermarket for the one i have right now, that i couldn't justify getting something else. If all of my aftermarket wouldn't be able to work on the 04 then i would have got the yami for sure, but with getting the 04 preddy, all my aftermarket is a direct change over so that i can still make the race this sunday and not have to start over from scratch. I just really hope this doesn't come back to bite me in the *****.

derrick not yet... He should have recived it on Fri. MAYBE sat. So they may not get it until Tues. but Im sure Doug will give us a buzz the minute he tears it down how bad the damage is.....:(

There is no way I coukd ride this year, Still can't, dam ribs. Seems like a lot of crashes. Glad everyone made it back at least. Sorry to hear about troy's pred. Mine is still running strong, knock on wood.

To ease the pain of not making the trip, I bougt two guitars ( a Gibson Les Paul studio and a acoustic elactric Ibanez), a marshall amp and a PA. Looks like I'll be driving my neighbors nuts:huh
