This kinda sucks but i got bits and pieces of this...
on Fathers day there was a quad accident during a race at Wakins Glen NY. I guess one racer landed on another one, the guy that was landed on went to the hospital and died soon after. My friend that told me, it was in his class but he didnt race that day since his bike isnt ready. I guess the article was in the local paper.
Last year on Fathers Day one of my good friends was in a nasty accident at Silver Springs NY. Dirt bike racing. He was in a coma for 2 weeks, hes pretty messed up but he still rides quite a bit now. he spent all summer in the hospital and in rehab. hes come a long way. he had so many people scared. most of his good friends didnt ride for a month or longer b/c of the accident. one kid hardly rides anymore. its real sad to hear these stories but it happens...
