hey rico i'll give you a free bump and ask you a question at the same time:

did you have any trouble getting your skidplate to fit with your houser swingarm?? i think i have the same setup as you with a 400ex stock length houser swingarm and .25 PRM swingarm skid, but i had to space my skidplate out on the bottom two bolts so my chain and rotor don't rub and its still pretty close to rubbing?

Are you running stock gearing??

How old are your sprockets and chain??

PS>...I BELIEVE THE CHAIN GUIDE IS SOLD..

Chain & sprockets are fairly new and stock gearing. The chain is able to roll freely with the spacers in the skid bolts - the rotor is a bigger diameter, i believe, so it is what is close to rubbing now, and no it is not bent it is brand new. I tried to line up the stock swingarm and the Houser and they appear to be basically the same skidplate mounting points (geometry, dimensions, etc) it seems like maybe PRM sent me the wrong skid plate or something? Especially if you didn't have this problem when installing - but my skid does look like the one pictured on their website for a 400ex?? i don't know whats going on, but it has me worried now going to wisp with it set up the way it is right now.
