depends on the school, I went to a magnet high school, 1000 was considered average there, I got a 1260, but someone got like a 1400 i think

Anything above a 1300 is great. I got a 1425....but then again I took prep SAT courses and whatnot. Takening the SATs is not about how muhc you know its about how you actually take the test.

You get like 400 points just for spelling your name correctly.

yea i did something like that in the psat's its nothing like the real ones though, the sat's are a bunch of b/s if u ask me,

In my opinion, the only thing you should take past elementary school is math and english, well maybe spanish also because of all the mexicans going around now, depending on what u want to do in life... i just finished my 1st year of college and I have yet to have learned many thinkgs in school that I would have needed to do my job.

i got a 980 on my psat:p but i didnt really care what i got cause it was just practice. i think you get 400 points for speeling your name right and i also answered every question which you dont wanna do. i never took my sat for some reason i signed up but never accually did it i think its cause when i started to wake up i realized it was 7 am on a saturday and went back to sleep.lol but i think anywhere around 1200 and up is good. i know someone who got perfect on their sat for the math section

so basically we shoudln't learn anything about sciences, physics, etc...

theres no need to learn about how cells are made up, reproduction, things in nature, why chemical reactions happen, why there is gravity, and the list goes on and on...

just because u dont use it in ur job now doesn't mean u don't need to know it...

but on topic i got a 1060 and that was good enouf for me... 720 math and a 340 verbal!

I never had to take the SAT for college entry. I took the ACT and got a 26 on it.
