I got a +2 swingarm for my 300ex and I need to tighten it up. I've looked for a manual on one but i can't find it. Any help? thanks

what spring do you have on it? if you have the 400ex spring, you need to switch to the raptor spring.

if you have the raptor spring, look on top of the shock, there are two rings with notches, turn the top ring left to loosen it, now turn thebottom spring to stiffen the preload, then tun the top ring down snug ontop of the bottom

I thought that was it, but someone said I should adjust the preload and all that crap for the new swingarm?

And yea I have the raptor spring...

the rings i talked about is the preload adjustment. if you have used all the preload and its still too soft, try stiffening the compression (flat tip screw on the rez)

this isnt really an "official mod" so the shock wont just bolt up and work perfect right out of the box, your gonna have to play w/ the pre load, compression and the rebound to figure out how it works best
