i am getting bored of the best sport quads, so lets see some of the utiltys. post pics!!
i seen out in the dunes one time, it was a bayou 220 (i think) and it had a gsxr 1100 motor in it, that think got it on, hard thing to do when the quad was a shaft, but hey it was cool, i wish i had the camra...

i use to have a recon and it was a blast, i took it to hell and back and still held up :p they're great beginner quads

It has the following modifications:
Custom Black Plastics, Big Gun Slip-On, Unifilter, DynoJet Kit, Renthal Bars, Gel Grips, 25x12x12 Outlaws, 25x10x12 Goodyears, 4 High Lifter Lite Wheels(all rear offset), Reverse Mod, Start In Gear Mod, 2 55W Fog Lights, Custom Intake Snorkle, & TRX300 Shocks for Lift.

it will bog down occasionally. it will always turn em in reverse though. but usually by the time it stops spinning them im already stuck. im trying to sell as we speak so i can get a sport quad.

squeak12, how did you do your start in gear mod.? i could use somthing like that.

splice and ground the lt green wire with a red tracer coming from the icm and then splice and ground the lt green wire coming from the starter solenoid. i grounded the one from the icm to the fender bracket near the gas tank on the top of the frame and the starter solenoid to the negative terminal on the battery. this will make your neutral light stay on though. but that was good for me cause i used its live wire to run my lights.

squeak12, that start in gear thing sounds pretty interesting. My 300 won't e start, and won't fire in neutral, I have to kick it over in gear. Do you think if I did that to mine it would e start in gear?

yea it should work on all hondas but some habe a lt green with red tracer also coming from the solenoid instead of just the icm...for some more help on your 300 you can go to www.highlifter.com then the mud hole tab and atv forum

we all know my recon was the baddest of em all. too bad i dont still have it.:( but it was definitly trick.:devil: mods were: SuperTrapp I.D.S.2 complete system, K&N filtercharger/ airfilter, Dynojet jet kit, Removed front and rear racks, Front rims flipped around(Adding about 6" of width), 2.5 in. Durablue wheelspacers in rear(Adding total of 5" width), DG Alloy Series front bumper, Custom rear bumper, Custom support brackets for front and rear fenders, Polished throttle cover, Polished brake rezzie cover, Polished shift lever, Moose handguards, Moose shockcovers, and a buncha stickers. i wasent done modding it out when i traded it in either. still had a buncha stuff i was gonna do.
