Well 2 sundays ago (June 13th) things decided to go downhill for me....I was heading out to the track with 4 other friends, they were on one side of the road on the trail, and I was on the trail on the other side. I was coming up on a drive way, and did not see a tire lying in the grass. At the last second I saw it, I swerved but my rear tire still cought it. Rear end came around I ejected from what people said at least 75ft. I was doing a good 60mph when I hit the tire, so it had to be around there. The drive was was very wide and asphault. It tore the hell out of my arm, side, and hip. I had to miss yesterdays race because of it. Jim(one of the guys who was there) said the hole in my arm at the time it happend, was about the size of a quarter, and you could drop about 3 of them in the hole. I am doing much better now, and should have some nice pictures to post as soon as I get my camera developed.
Only damage to the quad, the throttle cover got ripped clean off, and my rear rims are bent. I was told that the quad flipped side ways once, and end over end once and it flew over me. I was lucky I didn't clip 3 mailboxes with 4x4 posts, and a stop sign. I learned my lesson that day to slow the hell down on the trails. I have been flying along that trail for years, but from that day forward I will be going much slower. Riding in the Ambulance makes me think twice:o

I would have to say the worst part of this all was taking a shower about 2 days afterwards. The pain was soooo bad...I think I'll keep an eye out for tires now on:o
