going to the dunes with two of my friends that have yfz's....wondering if i should change my sproket to beat them in drag races

in the dunes maybe, maybe not i would go and practice your launch and race a couple of times then if you think you need to go to the truck and change it its easy to do about 20 min. just take the tools with you.

Leave it at 14 int eh dunes. The bike is faster with a 14T sprocket, less shifting and more pulling. I have a 13 on now because of woods, but i think im gonna go back to 14.

I use 13 tooth front in sand but I have 21X12X8 8-paddle extreme haulers. I found 13 launches better. Depends on size of your rear tires. Try both and see what happens.

bring both...if you lose with one then try the other

I was going to do the same thing. When I drag on the sand I do 2nd gear starts because first gear revs out too fast. With a 15t I am hoping that I am able to use first and then pull away in 5th.
(I am also curious as to how it will work on the MX track and trails as well.)

If not i'll go back to the 14t.

not a 450R, just thought I would share my experimentation.
