Group....I have a rejetted carb with a 170 main, I am running a e-series pipe, K&N with no lid, rev limiter and have removed the choke. I am running my stock pilot jet....Is this ok or should I change it. And were is it located.
Thanks guys.

All motors react differently with different jet setups. Only change if you are having a particular problem. Pilot jet would affect your low end.

The pilot jet is buried in the carb. You have to take the bowl off to get to it. It's a pain in the ***. Try a #42 jet.

Well if it's running OK, then leave it alone,,you know the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" and the saying "only rejet when its time to rejet" I changed out my pilot only when I added a new header pipe,,with the K&N, and pipe it ran fine. If it's still having problems starting raise the needle one clip and gever hell....:D :D
