i bought a CR kill button to use as my start button and it wont work now. i hooked it up the correct way so i think, i connected the green wire to the yellow wire with a quick connect and the 2 tires the same way. the switch is also grounded correctly with electricle tape wrapped around the bars. this is the exact same way my friend with a 400ex did it and it didnt give me a single problem. any help is appresiated

EDIT: i got it to crank over but wont start checked for spark by pulling out the plug, sticknig it in the boot and touching metal. nothing happend.

Try disconnecting the kill switch you installed (both wires) and see if it starts.

I have been told that the cr killswitches do not work because they ground to the handle bars. I was told that the YZ and RM kill buttons are the ones to use:confused:

I used a CR killswitch as my starter button. Just make sure you put some electrical tape on your handlebars where you're gonna put the button. If you don't you'll shock the chit outta yourself!

Try this link for help installing the button.....
