Did they fix some of the problems the Cannondales had??? Problems like the internal studs, motor mounts etc.???

any chance atk would be interested in me building a nice website for them? Their website is a pita and i cant even find the specs...

Yes, they have all the updates plus some other nice additions like close ratio 5th gear, new cam gears (quieter), new clutch basket and a few other goodies. They are also going to have the option of Elka shocks and tireballs available.

what exactly is 3 stage fuel injection?

cdalejef

To my knowledge, there are no plans for Hipers at this time. The wheels in the pics are ITP's.

Doug Gust's Z is claimed to put out 51.

I'm glad that they are releasing new quads again but i dont think people will buy them for 7995.00 because they went out of business last year and who wants to take a chance on a new model??
the picture i seen in dirt wheels had some bear claws on the front and back LOL !!
Canondales are really sweet quads and i would love to own one..
but right now yamaha has the best 450 out right now:blah: :macho

first of all it is a totaly different company releasing them so there isnt a danger of them going out of buisness since this company has been around.

The picture you saw in dirtwheels is another company different from both the previous ones and it does look like a joke.

who would have thought cannondale would go out of business?? no one .. so what makes you so sure atk wont go out of business??

canondale was heading in the right direction.. just didnt have enough funds and atk is just taking left overs and spicing them up...

just my .03 cents:D

many people saw it coming,,, They wasted alot of money on alot of very expensive things that they could have cut corners on. I was told they had about 3 diff plastic molds two of wich they never used. Last time i checked plastic(for fenders i guess) cost a hell of alot of money. Also, something i read about in some buisnesss magazine, was how cannondale had a state of the art system for design and such to keep up with updates but it was all just too much money for them to afford.

atk however, is experienced in the industry, is able to produce them at much lower cost. hence the lower msrp. And also seems like they were able to take all of cannondales hard R&D work and now have a bike with a ton of bugs worked out ready for production with little design on their part.

Seems to me that they are off pretty well so far.
